College work - random quote

For this task I used ''cut and paste'' technique with randomly picked word and quote, featuring letters cut from newspapers and magazines. I chose the word Wanting. My collage represents all the things related with Wanting in a modern consumer world. 
This type of work is inspired from our discussions of works of famous artist like Jamie Reid- famous with his Sex Pistols works ( ''Never mind the bollocks'' and '' God save the Queen, defined as as "the single most iconic image of the punk era") and European movement called - Dadaism, or Dada for short which techniques are similar.  Dada gave the foundation for Post-modernism and influenced many styles in the art movement, styles like avant-garde , pop art,  and even punk.
